Congratulations to the winners of the Australian Not-for-Profit Technology Awards 2022

Infoxchange and Connecting Up are thrilled to announce the winners of the Australian Not-for-Profit Technology Awards, which were presented at a gala dinner in Melbourne on Thursday evening.

The awards recognise the best in technology innovation and service excellence, acknowledging the achievements of organisations and individuals working across the not-for-profit sector in Australia.

This year almost 70 nominations were received across seven categories, with winners selected by a highly experienced panel of judges including David Crosbie, CEO of Community Council for Australia and Megan Short, Board Member of Women in Innovation South Australia.

Infoxchange Group CEO David Spriggs, who also sat on the judging panel, said that the caliber of nominations was of an extremely high standard.

“During what has been an incredibly challenging few years, particularly across the not-for-profit sector, it is fantastic to see so many dedicated people continue to work tirelessly to improve the lives of our most vulnerable,” said David.

Some of the categories were particularly challenging to judge due to the extremely high standard of nominations, resulting in joint winners.

Best Technology Achievement by a First Nations Person was jointly awarded to Kira-Lea Dargin of the New South Wales Aboriginal Land Rights Association, alongside Wayne Harvey from Community First Development.

The Not-for-Profit Technology Innovator of the Year Award was shared by Justice Connect, Orygen Digital and The Centre for Social Impact, all of whom demonstrated highly impactful ways of improving the lives of vulnerable Australians and the sector more broadly.
