This year marks the 20th anniversary since the Connecting Up conference first started. An incredible 20 years of delivering quality content, networking, sector awards and learning experiences – and we think it's the perfect time for a refresh.
Introducing the Technology for Social Justice Conference 2024
The Connecting Up Conference has been produced by Infoxchange, a not-for-profit social enterprise that empowers over 35,000 not-for-profits every year to be more impactful with the smart, creative and cost-effective use of technology. In 2004, our Connecting Up platform, which delivers over $195M of discounted technology products to the sector every year, inspired the conference name.
But like our many technology products, services and programs that we now deliver to amplify the work of the not-for-profit sector further, the conference has become much more than connecting organisations to more affordable technology. Infoxchange’s mission is "technology for social justice", and we think this encapsulates everything the conference is and should be.
Therefore, we are proud to announce the Technology for Social Justice Conference. We hope you love the new name as much as we do!
Improved professional development, sector insights, inspiration and networking
Based on feedback from past delegates, we’ve reshaped the conference into a more targeted experience focused on providing professional development and sector insights. This year's conference will be a premium, in-person event held over two days at the Telstra Customer Insights Centre in the Melbourne CBD:
- Day one: high-calibre keynote and panel sessions discussing sector trends and practical examples of digital transformation in the sector.
- Day one evening: the new and improved Not-for-Profit Technology Awards overlooking the city at sunset, celebrating the incredible work of the sector and a chance for mingling and networking.
- Day two: three streams of top-tier masterclasses on topics you've requested, diving into the key topics that matter most, and hands-on sessions for industry leads to upscale their technologies to make a difference in the lives of Australia's most vulnerable communities.
You’ll be informed, inspired and ready to maximise your use of technology for social justice.
The Sector's Not-for-Profit Technology Awards are back
We’ve refreshed the tech awards into a networking evening following day one with drinks, canapes, and five prestigious category awards. Expect a fun and inspiring night capping off a great day.
