In this post, we’re delighted to introduce you to PAG member and youth advocacy worker Tameika.

In the seventh of a series of 12 reports, we’ve broken down the latest data on how the COVID-19 lockdown impacted the way people in Australia searched for housing and homelessness support on Ask Izzy.

Sleep at the 'G looked a little different this year. Usually our team sleep out at Melbourne’s iconic MCG but this year we had to get more creative, setting up makeshift beds in our gardens, balconies garages and floors.

Mental health and homelessness advocate Elvis Martin shares some of his personal experiences and tells us how they led to his involvement with Ask Izzy.

Infoxchange staff have braved the cold to sleep out at the MCG, raising funds to support young people experiencing homelessness. Team member Stephanie Livingstone shares her thoughts on the experience.

Ask Izzy's dedicated team of updaters play a crucial role in ensuring that people facing crisis can access essential support services such as shelter, food, clothing and health care.

On any given night in Australia, almost 28,000 young people are homeless. Help us break the cycle of youth homelessness by supporting Ask Izzy.

When Alicia Wheatley, Senior Adviser Aboriginal Engagement and Outcomes at DHHS, noticed a woman looking distressed and helpless at a community food bank, she was compelled to extend a helping hand.

We ask that you join us in supporting families across Australia who are struggling to find shelter or put food on the table.

What makes a good community? Is it a cohesive, safe and prosperous place to live? Free of poverty and crime? Does it provide a good quality of life for everyone who lives there?
